Meet Isla and Lila, most loveable spring fairies around, dressed like flower buds and ready to fly some magic into a little girl’s heart.
Make them without wings and they turn into beautiful ballerinas.
Minimum hoop required – 5x7”
The doll requires 7 hoopings; head, body (2 sizes), arms, legs (2 sizes) and 2 layered wings.
To dress, another 5 hoopings for the skirt (2 sizes) with embellishments such as the wand, butterflies, lace stockings, flower and leaves.
Some hand stitching is required for this doll, to make it realistic and very special. It is extra work but it is so rewarding to see her coming together piece by piece.
The arms, leg, wings and head are sewn onto the body. The skirt layers are also sewn on by hand. Lastly all the embellishments and Mylar wings too. The gathered tulle underskirt with the embroidered silk petal overskirt parts are joined on the sewing machine and then sewn on by hand. The hairpiece is made with yarn.
Full instructions with step-by–step pictures and diagrams (for the hairpiece as well) are supplied.
For children 3 years and older.
Finished size: 17 ½" (45cm) 5x7" doll slightly shorter
