This is the perfect doll to make for your daughter and another for her best friend or for sisters! The dolls are modern but still so girly! Although the dolls are almost the same, it is just the front and back parts that are different to make it a complete new outfit. Most of the parts are made in the hoop. Other parts to dress them are made on the sewing machine and handsewn onto the dolls such as the sleeves and skirts. The doll requires 6 hoopings for the head, body ( 2 styles in 2 sizes) arms and legs (2 sizes). To dress them, another 4 hoopings for the skinny jeans or leggings, collar (2 styles), pumps and a shoulder bag. A stuffed kitty toy and a best friend pillow are also supplied. Some hand stitching is required to attach the body parts and the head. The skirts, bands and sleeves are sewn on the sewing machine and attached to the dolls by hand. It is extra work but so rewarding to see it all come together. Mix and match these parts to create your own new doll. 2 Hairstyles are shown as well. Optional if you enjoy knitting, a sweater and scarf pattern (PDF) are supplied as part of the set. PDF, 65 pages, full instructions with step-by-step pictures are included. Never enlarge, reduce, change the sewing order, or use a part of design to create your own as this cause problems and the quality of the design. Remove pins, tapes, slow down the machine and always keep your hands out of the embroidery area. These designs are sold for domestic embroidery machines and NOT for industrial embroidery machines. Industrial embroiderers must FIRST obtain permission from Louisa Meyer of Louisa Meyer Originals© BEFORE making purchase for mass production. (This may be subject to royalties for retail) You are welcome to sell your projects at flea markets but do not mass produce any. This is designed for a domestic embroidery machine and will overheat. Always oil and clean your machine, especially fluff and thread bits from the bobbin area, thread cutter and auto threader after using any of special techniques and products mentioned above. Refer to your own machine’s manual to use attachments properly and have it serviced as required. Test the sample design if supplied. Enjoy making these projects.
