Each little princess dreams of that special princess dress with all the trimmings so we designed a delicate freestanding lace band, matching cap sleeves and small flowers as many as required to sew on by hand, scattering it all over the tulle layers of her dress, hair clips or on her shoes. Although the dress was made in white Thai silk, using white embroidery thread with metallic silver detail, the band can be embroidered in any color of your choice. Optional: omit the silver thread and embroider it all in one color. This band can complement any dress in any color and fabric from plain to a dainty floral print for an informal dress. Any dress pattern, 2 - 6 even 7 years with a front and back yoke/ front can be adjusted. The dress sleeves are replaced with the cute, short freestanding lace cap sleeves. You can use any pretty dress pattern as long as the waistline is straight and not shaped or dropped to low. If you do not want to make a dress, by a pretty dress with normal waistline and tie the band around it. The band covers most or part of the front depending on the dress size. Wide ribbon is sewn onto the sides to form one long piece that is tied around the dress. The lace set will be perfect for a bridesmaid, first communion or just a pretty birthday dress. The set includes only: The freestanding lace band 5x7” (2) split files with reference crosses and as one piece for larger hoops. The finished size is 12”x4” (30.5cm x 10cm) Front and back freestanding lace cap sleeves Freestanding flowers in 3 sizes Freestanding sceptre Pretty Princess name PDF document with all the embroidery steps, ‘how to adjust the bodice pattern’, replace sleeves with the lace cap sleeves and making of the tie band. My collections are mostly projects based which include unique techniques and require special needles, attachments, feet, specialized fabrics, yarns and threads, tapes, pins, stabilizers, temporary spray adhesives, zippers, rhinestones as well as in-the –hoop projects, soft toys (layers of heavy and or stretch fabric with stuffed parts) in different hoop sizes which require special attention. Please read all the warnings for this and HEED all the safety tips and messages. Never enlarge, reduce, change the sewing order, or use a part of design to create your own as this cause problems and the quality of the design. Remove pins, tapes, slow down the machine and always keep your hands out of the embroidery area. These designs are sold for domestic embroidery machines and NOT for industrial embroidery machines. (This may be subject to royalties for retail) You are welcome to sell your projects at flea markets but do not mass produce any. This is designed for a domestic embroidery machine and will overheat. Always oil and clean your machine, especially fluff and thread bits from the bobbin area, thread cutter and auto threader after using any of special techniques and products mentioned above. Refer to your own machine’s manual to use attachments properly and have it serviced as required. Test the sample design if supplied. Enjoy making these projects.
