This charming, fun playmat consists of 48, 4x4” (10 x 10cm) squares to form a medium size quilt. Something special to make before Christmas to keep the younger ones busy for a while. Extra motifs are also supplied to stitch a square adding your own special chore or a name, the large, soft felt dice, felt tokens and a cute label to hand stitch onto the back of the quilt.
The game is played on the gold (un-even numbers) and red (even numbers) squares. Some with playful chores which they can do later with mommy, a few to roll again, miss a turn or jump to a higher number. The winner buttons the gold star onto the top of the tree. The rest of the quilt squares in blue fabric are filler blocks with stars, the large decorated tree and the beautiful Christmas font at the top.
Most of the squares stitch out quickly. Only the tree part has more, beautiful detailed motifs.
Full instructions with step by step pictures, to hoop, embroider and assemble are supplied in a 25 page PDF.
Take note that you need to use your own binding method for this quilt.
